Please tell me it will be ok? Can't believe it's all taken so long! My DD will be 3 days after we move as well. Can't get my head around it all! All I want to be doing is getting ready for the baby not thinking about moving at this late stage!

You will be fine. Get family and friends to help you move, make sure you can get to your hospital bag. Hugs and good luck

I did it this weekend just gone, am 38 weeks on thurs. It was fine- just annoying that i couldnt get stuck in and had to let OH and friends do everything. So it was frustrating, but do-able.

Make sure your hospital bag is packed and in the car. And get plenty of rest along the way.

Thanks all! Yeah just started getting hospital bag today. Mum has most of my baby bits to wash for me. Going to order things to go to my mums so at least I now they are there waiting! That god we have booked a packing service!

Hi op, I did this too at the same stage and it was fine. Just make sure you have a bag or box of essential things thats easily accessible for when you're alone as you don't want to have to go through piles etc. good luck!

I have just moved house last week at 34 weeks and managed it. Just let the guys do all the hard work! We didn't have any removal people either so DP and his dad and friend moved all our stuff whilst I did cleaning, a spot of painting and poi ting out where to put things with DP's stem mum. Remember to also take lots of breaks and don't feel bad about sitting down and putting your feet up whenever you need to (I did loads of this!) Good luck with your move :)
