35+4 with a totally blocked nose. Tmi but blowing my nose achieves absolutely nothing. I'm chewing food with my gob open which is gross but I can't breathe out my nose at all. I've slapped on vicks and olbas oil but it's seriously pissing me off. What else can I use?!

I've got this and I'm only 21 weeks, it's the most infuriating thing in the world not that I've found anything that help...

Sorry, but I feel your pain if that helps!

Steam - bowl of hot water, towel over head. Put a drop of olbas in if you want.

Unfortunately there is nothing much you can do. Blowing won't help because your sinuses are swollen and therefore blocked. Nothing to do with mucus. Steaming relives it for a bit. I have had the same problem right from the start Angry . I do find the cold weather makes it worse.

I get this a lot, but trying to unblock your nose just caused aggravation and makes the swelling worse! I also tell my kids when they have a blocked nose to ignore it and just keep breathing through your mouth and ignore the nose part altogether and eventually the swelling will go down and unblock naturally, a bath or a steamy shower can help, but patience and ignoring it , I think helps the best, hope you feel better soon xx

I have had this for ages now (currently 38 weeks) I can set my watch by it, 7pm every night. Im using breathright strips, I look like a tit, but being able to breath through my nose when I have my evening meal and sleep at night is so important. You could try them?

I had this last time and have it this pregnancy too. It's called pregnancy rhinitis I think. It's a pain! Confused

Had anyone else totally lost their taste as well? It's making me rather depressed but I feel like it's related to my nasal problems!

I second the breathe right strips ... Only thing that's helped for me - although still doesn't totally fix it
