How soon did you show with DC3?

I am 5+5 weeks with DC3 and hoping not to tell too many people too early, but was wondering how long Ill actually get away with it for.
We were going to wait till we're going away in February with DHs parents to tell them but Ill be 16 weeks then so I may well already be showing. My friend said she started showing at 12 weeks with DC3!
For previous pregnancies with DD1 I cant remember when I got a bump but I put on a huge amount of weight because I really was eating for two and had no energy. DD2 I started showing at about 17/18 weeks.
When did you show with DC3? Is it true that my stomach muscles will be fucked by now?!

Well I'm 13 weeks tomorrow with dc and whilst I'm getting a bit uncomfortable in my regular jeans I'm far from showing yet. But then I'm a size 16 - 18 anyway and so a little extra padding isn't going to show. Plus I lost a stone over the last weeks because of hyperemesis.

But all that aside, I guess but has a lot to do with how big you were before. Congratulations by the way - 3rd ones are so exciting if unexpected for us

I was showing well before 16 weeks with this (my third).

I'm average weight/width, but I am incredibly short.

you are completely in control of when you tell people. Clever uses of clothes make you look more or less, pregnant. If I wear my dungarees I dont look pregnant, baggy tops, flattering dresses etc. However, If I stick on my skin tight dress I look about 20 weeks.. or feel it at least.

Im at 15 weeks with my first. Most people would feel it too rude to suggest anything if they suspected because its basically saying, you look fat...

With my third I showed really early, from about 7-8 weeks there was an obvious baby bump. It looked like a bump rather than looking like I was just fat which was nice, but I couldn't hide it so easily!

About 16 weeks with this one (DC3). It's definitely easy to hide with looser clothes. I reckon I could have got away with it for much longer.

I'm a size 10 when not pregnant and started showing at about 8-9 weeks with DC3 and was in maternity trousers by week 12, due to bloating I know but I definitely couldn't have hidden it!

Yy first trimester bloating (which sadly can't be attributed yet to being 'a bump') is a right bugger. Far worse in my 3rd pregnancy.

I am pregnant with a third one. Usually size 10, flattish stomach. What I found was that it totally depended on whether the people you were wanting to hide it from suspected you might have a third pregnancy. At work I had never mentioned any desire to have another baby, and nobody had guessed before I told them at 14 weeks. Obvs loose clothes helped, scarves etc but it was not too tricky to hide it. However sister-in-law, mother etc all guessed way before I told them at 12 weeks as they had been on baby watch.

Charly That is exactly what Im worried about, family know I would quite like another baby so cant make it obvious bump hiding IYSWIM as they would all get suspicious if I started wearing baggy tops.

Hopefully because its winter Ill get away with chunky jumpers for now
I am definitely a bit overweight anyway so maybe that works in my favour and they might just think Im getting fatter

I started showing and wearing maternity stuff at 16 weeks with number 3. I'm now 24 weeks and definitely look pregnant! Much earlier than with my other 2, I'm sure I was this size at 41 weeks with number 2.

I'm 8+6 with dc3 and already have a bump but dressed for work it looks more like i've just abandoned my healthy eating diet! Loads of oversized jumpers and cardigans are my friend right now especially as my dating scan isn't til 12+5 so i've got ages before I can tell them.
