I had my 'clear out' yesterday (what i presume was a clear out, went for a number 2 about 3/4 times. Not the runs tho. verry unlike me. crampy too)

This morning since 9am ive had the same cramps..like you need a poo but nothing happened, this happened a few times..then the crampy feeling turned into period type pain..it was in my lower back and around the front..rang triarge and was told to monitor the pain, have a paracetomol etcetc..so did that..

Its now nearly 6pm and ive still got the niggley feeling, ive had braxton hicks abit stronger in the last few hours, on and off, nothing regular.
When i saw my midwife baby was 3/5th enagaged that was about 34 weeks. im 35 + 4 days now. this is my 2nd.

Does this sound like slow labour?

I dunno as mine is PFB but I have exactly the same at 40+6.

I have everything crossed that the real thing happens soon as I am so fed up and uncomfortable.

Sounds like bh tbh.
I had them for weeks at regular intervals, every day (sometimes every ten /fifteen minutes, all day) after about 35 weeks.

To the point where I was in the beginning of labour but wasn't sure if I was or not and went shopping. (Baby was born a few hours later Smile)
Get some rest and try not to worry. If you are concerned call your mw.

You'll know if contractions are kicking in.
