Am 31 weeks with DC2, and have had to give in and take the day off work because I'm just so tired. Have spent the day lying in bed and am only now starting to feel marginally better! It's so frustrating as I'm normally really active and like to get stuff done.
My job involves sitting all day long, but involves a lot of mental effort and I'm struggling to get anything useful done. A lot of the time I'm so tired that I can't really think straight! Am not that short of sleep either - DH is doing a lot of looking after DC1 (who is 2) while I lie in, and I can't remember the last time I stayed up past 10pm. Have stupidly agreed to work to 37 weeks, but I'm wondering about changing that.
Iron levels are fine, though I'm borderline for GD (raised sugar levels but still under the thresholds for diagnosis). Midwife says it's just one of those things you have to put up with when pregnant.
