Our little girl was born on Friday by emergency c section. She's like a perfect little dolly , only weighs 6lb1oz! So beautiful and am snuggling with her now x

I was a bit of a wuss and she couldn't do it sad in the meantime still getting lots of funny twinges and cramps but I don't think they are really leading anywhere ... So frustrating !! Been booked in for induction on Friday but hopefully something might happen before then but in trying not to get my hopes up too much. Glad you and your LO doing well, enjoy all the yummy food ... Got to keep your strength up haven't you after all wink

Meant to say ... Those erratic cramps are a good sign!

How was the sweep? Not too painful I hope.

All good here. He's eating and sleepin well and I have spent the entire week in my pjs!! My bits are all healing well too and I cannot stop eating cos of the breastfeeding ;)

Oh how glam ! Congrats again on your little boy. Will let you know of any developments but not holding out much hope, think this baby has well and truly decided to stay in forever !!

He is adorable. Labour was 11 hours more or less so not too bad. Had to have a few stitches but worse are the piles!! I'll need wine for those ha ha.
Good luck and keep me posted. I'll keep my fingers crossed. smile

iheartshoes Wed 03-Apr-13 13:17:43

D'oh just seen you said you went into labour Friday night and he arrived Saturday morning ! Mega impressed with you pushing out 9lb3 bubba on your own - you definitely deserve some wine smile

iheartshoes Wed 03-Apr-13 13:14:50

Oh wow ! Congratulations I bet he is gorgeous ! Was the labour very long or not too bad ? No movement here at all, am booked in for a sweep on Saturday when ill be six days over but really really hoping something happens before then !

space21 Wed 03-Apr-13 10:01:18

I have news! Went into labour midnight last Friday and ds2 was born 11am on Saturday. A whopping 4.5kg or 9.3llbs. I managed to push him out on my own - no episiotomy and no instruments. What an effort - huge head!!
We are at home now and he is doing a big squelchy poo as I write!
How's things with you???

space21 Fri 29-Mar-13 11:58:21

This is ds2. He was born 42+5 but everyone has told me the second ones always come faster. Bloody hope so smile Is this your first?
I still feel knackered and like there is a bowling ball/watermelon swinging low in my belly!!!

Keep posting how you are ... In the meantime I'm watching tv and eating cake which helps.

Take care

Haha it sounds like it !!! Feeling better today, few cramps in the night which I thought might be the start of something, but no !! Is this your first baby ? I wanted mine here for Easter Sunday as well sad got a feeling will be waiting a while !

space21 Fri 29-Mar-13 09:01:40

Are you me?!?!?
I'm due on Sunday too. Felt like I had a cold coming and had a few evenings of mild ish contractions that are gone by the next morning. Also incredibly tired but sleeping better than I have in months!
I also cannot stop bursting into tears!

I hope this IS the start of something....

How are you feeling today?

iheartshoes Thu 28-Mar-13 22:42:24

I'm due on Sunday and this morning I woke up feeling awful ! Bad period type cramps, headaches, very tired and blocked up and with that horrid taste in your mouth you get when you are getting a cold. Also been feeling very cold today despite us having the heating on full blast. Was feeling very crampy first thing this morning and earlier this evening but that's cleared up now . But the most overwhelming thing is how tired I've been today, ridiculously so considering I slept ok last night. Any chance this is my body getting ready for labour or is it wishful thinking and I'm just about to come down with something ?! Anyone had anything similar before they went into labour?
