I'm due on Sunday and this morning I woke up feeling awful ! Bad period type cramps, headaches, very tired and blocked up and with that horrid taste in your mouth you get when you are getting a cold. Also been feeling very cold today despite us having the heating on full blast. Was feeling very crampy first thing this morning and earlier this evening but that's cleared up now . But the most overwhelming thing is how tired I've been today, ridiculously so considering I slept ok last night. Any chance this is my body getting ready for labour or is it wishful thinking and I'm just about to come down with something ?! Anyone had anything similar before they went into labour?

Are you me?!?!?
I'm due on Sunday too. Felt like I had a cold coming and had a few evenings of mild ish contractions that are gone by the next morning. Also incredibly tired but sleeping better than I have in months!
I also cannot stop bursting into tears!

I hope this IS the start of something....

How are you feeling today?

This is ds2. He was born 42+5 but everyone has told me the second ones always come faster. Bloody hope so :) Is this your first?
I still feel knackered and like there is a bowling ball/watermelon swinging low in my belly!!!

Keep posting how you are ... In the meantime I'm watching tv and eating cake which helps.

Take care

I have news! Went into labour midnight last Friday and ds2 was born 11am on Saturday. A whopping 4.5kg or 9.3llbs. I managed to push him out on my own - no episiotomy and no instruments. What an effort - huge head!!
We are at home now and he is doing a big squelchy poo as I write!
How's things with you???

He is adorable. Labour was 11 hours more or less so not too bad. Had to have a few stitches but worse are the piles!! I'll need wine for those ha ha.
Good luck and keep me posted. I'll keep my fingers crossed. :)
