Hi,

We are going to get DD1 a present from the baby she is nearly 6.......I Have no clue what to get her, she's got soooo many babys/dolls which is the obvious choice to give her So I'm a bit stumped!
Any ideas appreciated x

Baby boo will be getting teen boo and toddly boo games. Teen boo has a nintendo and toddly boo has a leap pad, this way being at the hospital won't be so boring and all about the baby as they will have something to interest them (providing DH remembers to bring their consoles)

Get her something you know she'll love - it doesn't have to be baby related. If she likes drawing and painting one of those craft sets might be nice. It would be something for her to do when you are busy with the baby. Or is one of her friends has a particular toy that she really likes you could get her the same.

Six is a nice age to have a baby sibling - old enough to be interested, but not so old as to find it all horribly embarrassing.

We are getting older DC (nearly 3) a couple of Thomas books as he loves these and I thought it would be nice for me to read these to him in the hospital when he visits so I can spend some time with him and DH can be with baby. Will also be getting a Thomas train (with same name as intended for baby) and prob get a few other things that will keep DS occupied at hospital. Decided to get a few smaller things rather than one big thing so that when family visit with their presents for baby we can give one to them to give to DS at same time so he does not feel that baby is getting all the attention.

I got DD who's 5 next month, a tatty teddy with a personalised t shirt saying 'to my big sister' and a pair of tatty pj's.

She was with me when I bought bump some tatty pj's so thought it'd be nice if they have something similar for baby's first night at home. Plus I thought it'd make a cute photo! Lol

The plan is to put them wrapped in the Moses basket. Bump was due on thurs but no sign yet!
