i have just read about this reusable alternative for when you are on your period and was thinking of trying them after baby comes. it is a silicone cup inserted like a tampon that collects about 1/3 of blood lost from your whole period. because of this they are suitablef or even heavy flows and rarely become full. all you do is empty and rinse it out and reinsert every 4-8 hours. seems very simple, but i wanted to know if anyone has used them?

/this is on the health thread or are you thinking about using it to keep the sperm near the cervix? I have heard people using it for that.

I love mine!! I think though that immediately after birth you are better off with pads, first from being too sore and also to let the body flush everything out
