did your doctors charge for doing a fit to fly letter in pregnancy?

ive got to pick mine up later going away in morning and when i was in earlier i noticed a list of charges and one was fit to fly letter £15 the receptionist wasnt sure but i hope they dont what a rip off! and the fact it was supposed to be done on tues and they just cant get thier act together to get it done!!

Apparently my doctor does charge but my MW did one for me for free (GP ignored my request too!).

Kind of torn on this one tbh - it's not exactly medically essential work so I can see why they'd charge for it.

In my last pregnancy both my consultant and my MW did me fit to fly letters. Neither charged.
