I am 38 weeks and keep getting those awful stabbing pains in my cervix, they actually stop me in my tracks and there is no escaping them either. Pain killers make no difference, something to do with the head coming down I think.

I read that inserting the evening primrose oil as close to your cervix as you can and letting them disovle over night would make it less painful and I was desperate so gave it a go.

Apart from the 'leakage' of primrose oil this morning, it actually seems to have worked a bit I haven't had any pains this morning and managed to get some sleep last night. Maybe its pyschological or something but it seems to have worked! Will be doing the same thing tonight too!
