Is it possible to see my tummy move without feeling anything on the inside or outside? Or am I just going mad?
I'm 17 weeks right now.

Thanks sleepybump
I wasn't expecting it but just looked down and my tummy started to move on the left side a couple of times!!!
I'm freaked because I thought I should be able to feel movement before I saw it Confused

I'm quite jealous to be honest - I had flutters between 14&15 ish weeks, then nothing until yesterday (19w) I think I had a few little kicks (which was a bit like popcorn going off Confused) - but if I'm totally honest these could all be a mixture of wind/rumbly tummy/wanting to feel the baby... I need proof damn-it!! Grin

I'm sure you'll feel them in no time!

That sounds so cool!

I'm 23 weeks, sometimes I look down at my tummy and it's sticking off to the left or right rather than forwards but I've never actually seen it moving yet. With DS I used to balance things on my bump and watch them jiggle and bounce (the TV remote is great for this).

Today is the first day I've seen it! I can't wait to get home from work and try balancing things on it. Baby hasn't stopped wriggling since I saw it move, at least I think it wriggling! Smile x

It's strange isn't it? I used to wake up with a dd shaped lump on one side, all curled up and contorting my stomach and when I sat up she'd wriggle back to a more comfortable position, my stomach changing shape as she went. I loved it.

You can also see your heartbeat in your stomach when pregnant which makes it pulse slightly.

Is that what that rhythmic bumping is!? I noticed it in the bath the other day and thought it looked like a beat but wasn't sure if it was mine or hers.

It's yours. The baby's is still very fast and wouldn't be as noticeable at this stage. Mine used to do it in the bath (I think it's the semi-inclined position), just a rhythmic pulsing. Found it really weird.

I found my heart beat in my tummy really odd at first!
Felt a bit more wriggling last night and two what I think were kicks!
Not felt anything yet today.
