I'm 35+3 and when I went to the loo a teaspoon amount of what looked like the contents of a sneeze fell out! There was no blood in it so it can't have been a show ... so what was it? Is it normal??

I think it is a show. Mine didn't have any blood in at first.

It could have been a show as there is not always blood in it. If you have any concerns then phone your midwife!

My first show had no blood in it.

It could be a show. Could be thick discharge. Could be infection.

I didn't have blood in any of my shows. It was just yellow, snot, looking goo.

Sounds like a show - mine started with mucus and then turned a bit bloody. Took several days to turn into labour.

You're a bit early so I would ring your MW for advice, she might want you to get it checked out.

If more comes out it will definitely be a show Grin

or it could just be normal discharge that has been building up?

Yes shows tend to keep coming - I couldn't believe how much of it there was, frankly. It was gross.

OOOooh... I wasn't expecting everyone to say it might be a show Shock

It was a good few hours ago now and nothing since, think I'll sleep on it and see what occurs in the morning! Thanks everyone - you're all ace!

If you've got any, put a pad on in case there is any more during the night. Then you can give accurate report to MW in the morning.

Good luck (stay put that baby!)

I had the same thing earlier this week, no blood just looked dead snotty. Had it for a day or 2. Am 37+5 today had the odd twinge and some strong BH but nothing else yet!
