Anyone else lost all their arm hairs in pregnancy?

This happened in my first pregnancy too. Now again. No arm hairs at all - as if I'd shaved them all off - for the entire pregnancy.

Also I've got very very few leg hairs - I'm not very good about epiladying them - but have not worried about it since being pregnant as I've hardly got any hairs at all.

I just wondered if this was normal though???

Oh yes - and I've not had to pluck my eye brows either.

Arm pit hairs are still growing though ...

I wish! My leg hairs are growing like I'm some sort of gorilla - shaved Wednesday afternoon for swimming and I swear they were prickly by bedtime.

And I'm growing armpit hair. I never, ever grow armpit hair. The only time I grow armpit hair is when I'm pregnant.

I've never had to pluck my eyebrows though, pregnant or not.

lol some of my body hair makes me look like a gorilla but in other places, like my legs, i have bald patches.

I also have freakishly smooth legs and haven't shaved for weeks. I thought it was just me!

I lost all my leg hair in first pregnancy. Armpit hair never stopped though.

I wish! I'm just growing darker hairs on my lower back and belly.

My hairs on legs stopped almost completely! All grown back now though!

My first pregnancy gave me a dark snail trail down my bump.
Dark hairs in pregnancy is ment to mean your carrying a boy and its due to man hormones. Twas true last time! Just keeping an eye on tummy hair this time round.

I got ver ver hairy from about 16 weeks, arms, legs, snail trail as described above, eye brows, moustache, lady garden. Then lost it all almost overnight at 26 weeks, bar the snail trail and lady garden! I'm having a boy!

That's interesting. I had a boy last time, but I think I lost hair just the same as this time - and this time I'm having a girl.

A mum in the park got me worried because she said that losing hair on your arms could be a sign of thyroid not working properly - or something like that. And then I put it into google and things I found said that if you lose body hair you should take it seriously and go to the doctor.

Until now - I've just been pleased about not having to pluck my usually caterpillar hairy eyebrows and shave/epilady legs.

I'm so glad I've read this. I'm 21 weeks pregnant with my first. And I haven't shaved my legs in about 3 months. I've got to shave my legs this evening and all my leg hair has disappeared. Smooth as a baby's bottom except for around my ankles which are really hairy. It's so weird. My leg hair normally grows so quickly. Everywear else is growing so much. My hair has got thicker, dark arm hair, snail trail the lot. Apart from my legs which have done the opposite.

Hmm, is interesting indeed - I randomly lost big clumps of eyelashes in my first pregnancy, which would grow back and fall out again. I've never been that hairy or had to pluck eyebrows either, but then after pregnancy became underactive thyroid. I wonder if the eyelashes were an early sign of something going wrong with it. Hope not for you op!

A friend of mine paid handsomely for laser treatment to deal with hairy toes, which pregnancy completely undid!

I've noticed my leg hair is few and far between! I haven't shaved in a while and usually by now I'd be quite hairy Blush but nope! Can barely see anything!

My leg hair grows very slowly during pregnancy, was the same last time (and lasted for about a year after I gave birth too), armpit hair grows a bit slower too, arms are normal though.

Me too! Can't say I've noticed arms, but leg hair has all but gone. Armpit hair hasn't though (what's that all about? Confused)

Didn't happen in last pregnancy, have a boy and I'm expecting a boy this time too.

I'll take it as one of the very, very few perks of pregnancy Smile

Oh how I wish I had this. Lol. I seem to shave my legs and arms daily and by morning it's back. And I've now developed a lovely line of hair down my belly too. I'm possibly part yeti. Lol

I went for a wax this week (23 weeks) and the woman asked if I wanted her to do my stomach... ouch... Blush

After I gave birth I lost my leg hair and arm pit hair and my pubic hair went from black to blonde ShockConfused. The leg and armpit hair started growing in fair and very fine (I am very dark haired). Sadly it didn't last.
