I don't want to sound smug, and I know a lot of you are suffering from various pregnancy-related problems, but is there anyone else out there who most of the time feels really, really good?

I'm not pregnant but I can truthfully say I loved being pregant 99% of the time, I mean really loved it. I felt whole, sexy, comfortable with my body. I've always been concious of having a little pot belly (!) and for the first time in a long time I felt really good about my body. I felt sexy all the time, and loved the feeling of a baby growing inside me. There really wasn't much I didn't enjoy about it at all. Like you I hate to sound smug about anything but that's just honestly how I felt. As soon as I had Lottie I was of course overjoyed at being a mum but was gutted not to be pregnant as well! I really missed my big round hard belly!

My first pregnancy was like that, I feel really lucky to have experienced that as now I know it isn't always the same experience every time!
I felt so happy and chilled out all the time - nothing fazed me, I just kept thinking of my baby being the most important thing that had ever happened to me.
People used to say how much I had changed since becoming pregnant, much more laid back, etc.

I can honestly say I loved every single minute of it.

I have felt great throughout the whole pregnancy, the happiest I've been in a long time. Until now, I'm 38 weeks, extremely uncomfortable and i'm struggling to cope with a 3 year old with little or no sleep. I suppose it had to happen eventually as I was so happy and complacent I was getting quite concerned about how close I was getting to my due date. Now however, I'm praying for an early delivery to get rid of this pelvic pain.

Didn't mean to sound like a misery guts - just having a bad day -I am pleased that some of you did have an enjoyable experience!

Just to stop you all feeling smug - I felt fantastic for first two pregnancies: better, fitter, more energetic than usual ... but for the third I felt utterly hideous for the entire time! Be warned.

I've felt great most of the time. Only put on 10lbs and not likely to put on any now. No sickness. No swelling. Perfect blood pressure. Only ever had two scans cos I'm so low risk, even though I'm 36. Never seen consultant. Had some headaches but there sorted now and I've had worse from hangovers, which I obviously haven't experienced for a while, so it's a good trade off.

Like Bekki am starting to feel more uncomfortable now. When I get up in the morning I keep looking for the horse I must have been riding in the night 'cos my hips hurt........

Still feel great, just a bit tender!

Nearly 42 weeks now!

I'm pretty early on (19+5) and this is my first so it's probably a bit early for me to be too chirpy! I did have occasional slight nausea in the first weeks too, but I've just been struck by how much more serene I feel than normal and how nice it is to have a little pot belly that makes fluttering movements inside. But it's quite possible that at 38 weeks I'll be doing gymnastics in the hopes of ending it all early!

kmg1's warning is interesting - hormones are just unpredictable, I guess.

I felt pretty good for most of mine. Sure it was the lack of alcohol

I'm feeling fine during my first trimester - no sickness, breast tenderness or any other nasties

I felt wonderful all the way through, even when hospitalised. Strong, never sick, not at all tired, perfectly well and no hangovers
I never even felt fat until I had my ds and looked myself without a big bump to distract attention from big bum etc.

I'm now feeling really great. I've been ok for most of pg, but gone into worry overload about everything, but just in the last couple of days, everything seems to have slotted into place, I'm starting to feel more tired by the afternoon, but it doesn't bother me and in general I now feel positive, ready, excited to meet baby, madly in love with my 2 ds's & dh & all is great. I even like seeing my silhouette as I waddle to the loo in the evenming. Always turn for a look at my profile.
