I'm 19 weeks and just really want my baby to be born! So I can play with it!!! I am so impatient at the best of times...but kittens on a bike is 40 weeks not just a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a baby? I am not even half way there yet!!!!!

It's after Halloween, after Bonfire night, after Thanksgiving, after Christmas after New Year, after DH's birthday... Come on already I've known since May! How can I be expectd to wait that long. I just know it will be over due to spite me as well.

anyone else quietly ahem losing the plot too?

I feel your pain. I've been pregnant now for the WHOLE of 2010!! I'm just taking solace in the fact I'm not an elephant (although I may look like one at the moment) because they're pregnant for 22 months!!

I know what you mean, it seems like aaaaaages, but I'll tell you something, that changes when you get to 37 weeks or so. Then it's like, oh crikey, any time now and I have to get it out. Suddenly it seems like pregnancy isn't so long after all lol!

It only seems like yesterday that I was 8 weeks and now all of of a sudden I'm approaching 17 weeks. It felt like it would be eons until I got past the 12 week mark lol, but here I am.

It is exciting though!

((Bows her head in respect to picklesarnie)) I will lose it before long :)

LadyintheRadiator where abouts are you? I'll borrow your toddler in exchange you can have my bad wind, moodiness and my appetite. Grin

Rocklover oddly enough I am no afraid of the birth at all? But then never was.. always knew I would hate the pregnancy though! I was right so far so hopefully I will have a nice easy relaxing labour :)

I wasn't scared of the birth until a few weeks before my due date, then I started getting twitchy.

Oddly, this time round because I know what sort of things to expect I am far more nervous about it. I'm still trying to decide between an elective c-section or whether to attempt a vbac.

The wind trumps every time.. so to speak LITR

That is scary rocklover, as its my first I still have lofty ideas of hypnobirth and orgasmic births.. Even saw a truly odd thing involving a birth with a dolphin attending. Grin

It's my due date today and even though I know it will only be max. 12 more days that seems like absolutely forever.
At least at 19 weeks you don't have people calling all the time asking if you've 'popped yet!'
hope the pregnancy's going well for you otherwise! X

Sorry, read that back and it sounds so grouchy!! What I mean is, yes it's a completely unreasonable amount of time, especially as they can then make you wait even longer!

Ha ha ha poppy, you must be so sick of it!

I'm hoping I don't go over... I know myself and it will be pineapple curries and trampolines if I do.. Don't think I could stand it!!!
