HOW BIG... are my boobs actually going to be??!!

I'm only 7-8 weeks preggers and my boobs are HUGE... I'm usually a 34D, and no joke theyre already on the rise to an E (skipping the DD bit...)
my dates are right, is it a sign of twins or something... I'm worried about where they'll end up, and stretch marks (bio-oiling like crazy).....
any ideas?
xx

Hee hee you'll be AMAZED how big they are when your milk comes in (around day 4 after your baby arrives) - I seriously felt like Jordan! But that settles down as your supply meets demand. I went from a 34D up to a 34godknowswhat and have now settled to a 32G in nursing bras.

Keep on oiling, and keep getting properly re-fitted (not at M&S). Nobody warns you about the exorbitant bra expense incurred during pregnancy!

Good luck and congratulations :)

gigantaur that made me smile lots Grin
In answer to original post I think it depends a lot on the individual but its a safe bet to say they are gonna get 'mahoosive'!!! especially, as my older sister delights in telling me, when your milk comes in. I have already gone from a 32D to a 34DD and I'm only 15+3! [shocked]

Come back and tell us when your milk comes in after the baby arrives Grin.

For now keep them supported and comfy.

They will be HUGE.They will be so big that you will laugh and cry at the same time (I went from a 30E to a 32J).They do go down again though, mine are now a 32F/FF.I'm still bf my toddler and still chubbier than pre-baby.

I've gone from 30F to 34G and I reckon I'm actually pushing a 36G! And I am only 15+2! The scary thing is that I know they are going to get even bigger!

Yep-the boobs become huge-I was also really shocked at the size change -I went from 34B to 34F, still can't get used to it and feel like I am going to topple over or something...I also agree with previous post-maternity and nursing bras are bloody expensive!
Tip: get fitted properly and in more than one place, I had widely differing measurements but Blooming Marvellous and John Lewis were good

Just get a shopping trolley and be done with it,as least it is strapless.

helly thats pricelessGrin A trolley is prob a damn sight cheaper then most maternity bras too!! Oh and in a phone conversation with my sister the other day she also warned me of the perils of bra shopping when your milk is in......cue a slightly soggy sales assistant, if you catch my meaning ha ha. My sister said she bought the bras even though they didn't fit cos she was soooo embarassed!!

I think that's why they supply breast pads in Mothercare changing rooms :)

started at 34B, by week 8 - 34C, just had a little growing burst over last 3 days, and I swear I must be a D, almost 16 weeks now. I am scared of the F and G prospect... :)

Mine have hardly grown at all. Went from a 34DD to a 36E by 10 weeks, then nothing. I will be interested to see what happens when my milk comes in.

Mine didn't grow with DD one bit I stayed 32A, boob growth was top of my list of pregnancy symptoms I needed and never got them. This time round I am 28 weeks and have gone from 32A to 34A so still no cup growth.

Well I was very disappointed with mine.
I thought, when pregnant wit DS1: "Finally I will find out what it's like to have big breasticles!" and got very excited looking at all the beautiful bras
I waited....and waited.....and waited..... 9 months passed, still not much bigger. Even when I had DS1 they didn't grow. They only went one cup size bigger the whole time Sad I put on 3 stone everywhere else too!

I think I was robbed Sad

You know what though, even though my boobs are now a G cup, i don't think they actually seem THAT big - granted, they were ludicrous when milk came in but they DO settle. Just to warn you though, they do change shape a lot, i never used to be able to hold a pencil under mine and now, to quote an NCT friend, "I could get a whole bloody pencil case under there"!!!!

I've gone from a C cup to F or FF already and I'm only 22 weeks. They're still growing!

Bravissimo are great at fitting fwiw - I highly recommend them after having awful experiences elsewhere.

A fortnight ago (at 24 weeks) I walked into John Lewis wearing a 36D and came out wearing a 36F. Felt a lot more comfortable, but also slightly ridiculous. Can't afford too many more increases, though, so unless it becomes clear that mine have grown again, I'm going to wait until my milk comes in before I get any more new bras. Lord only knows what size I'll need then...

I've gone from a 32B cup to a 32DD but all of it happened weeks 6 - 10. And then ... they stopped.

Which I'm a little annoyed about, but it does save on bras I suppose. It's nice to have actual boobage.

But I can imagine if you already have large breasts, it might be a bit worrying. From this thread, it seems like everyone has different experiences.

Just have to wait and see ...?

just you wait, when the milk comes in.....scarily HUGE!!!!
