Potty training

Difficulties as day goes on...

So after a false start or two my DD (2.3) seems to be getting the hang of potty training. Last few days she's asked for knickers in the morning, and we've had no accidents all morning/early afternoon. We even had a dry trip out for lunch today. But for some reason after about 3pm it's accidents non stop.

Prompting doesn't work (she's very stubborn and will happily trot to potty in mornings when she needs to go but not if I suggest it!). We've been showering her with praise, stickers and a chocolate button whenever she uses potty, it's like she gets bored as the day goes on!

Anyone have any ideas or suggestion?

Don't reward with food for staying dry. It's not something she can help. It's because she's more tired in the afternoon.

Just stay matter of fact "Oh dear...we'd better clean you up" and carry on as you have been. 2.3 is very young still

Thanks, she actually has had no accidents now since Sunday, seems she just got the hang of it.
