My daughter is 27 months old and we started potty training 6 weeks ago. At first she was doing brilliantly, but over the last week, she has had more "misses" than "hits". She will tell me that she has to go WHEN she's doing it, but by then it's too late and although she wants her pants and trousers changed immediately, she's not bothered by her accident.
When I ask "where do we do our pee pee?" she always shouts back (really excitedly) "the potty!", so she knows what to do, but it's doing it that seems to be the problem.
She refuses point blank to wear pull-ups, so we've been using pants. Is it time to give her a break for a few weeks and see if it's any easier? I'm just thinking that by now we should have less accidents every day and both of us is getting frustrated!
