Potty training

Is there any way to"encourage" being dry through the night?

Ds 3.5 has been using the toilet during the day for almost a year now, no problems at all.

The thing is, he only goes to the toilet 2 or 3 times a day, despite me trying to persuade him to go more often, which means his nappy is usually soaking over night, sometimes through pj's.

Is there any way I can help him to get dry through the night, I appreciate his is still quite young, but I though after a year of being completely dry during the day we would be a bit closer than we are.?

Any help would be appreciated.

Encourage him to use the loo just before bedtime. And then just wait until he's waking up with dry nappies more often than not. It'll happen eventually.

You can't really help him along on this one if he's still sopping wet in the morning. You'll gain nothing but laundry! He's still little anyway.

So just hang in there.
