I'm happy to announce I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy this week and everything during the natural delivery went fine.
I slept in bed the whole night in pretty much one position and didn't feel any pain. The next day I had a little niggle but nothing major.
Since then, I've gone massively downhill and the pain is far worse than during pregnancy (and that was pretty bad). I cry in pain, pop pills every 4 hours and basically resign myself to not being able to do much.
I've booked in with a chiropractor (I was seeing one during pregnancy but the last visit was around week 37 and the baby was born week 41) and I'm hoping he can do some good. Seeing as during pregnancy the manipulation is very restricted, do you think post birth the chiropractor will be able to do more and get me fixed quicker? I'm impatient as I just want to be able to care for my son properly. The midwife asked today about my mood and I can honestly say, if it wasn't for this continual pain I would be happy. Even the sleepless nights are bearable!
