Vaginal pain 12 weeks after birth

I'm trying to work out whether this is normal or something to be concerned about.
I had a baby 12 weeks ago. I had a ventouse delivery with a tear and episiotomy. All has healed well but for the past week I've felt quite sore down there. It's a general low level soreness with the occasional painful twinge. It's not that painful more uncomfortable. It's just that it has only started recently that's concerning me, but it may just be part of the healing process?

It almost feels like the soreness you get after too much sex, but I've not attempted it since the birth.
