still here!

Big event last night - we bought a high chair!

Wish we'd done it sooner. It's quite narrow so supports DS beautifully and he is sooooo much happier sitting up and playing with his toys.

It's really wierd hearing about the awful weather back home - Vancouver has been baked in glorious sunshine for the past 3 weeks!

I take it everyone is on solids now? We've not progressed past a few spoons of rice cereal yet, although I have bought a baby recipe book (Annabel Karmel). Looks good, if only I could get off my lazy arse and cook something!

Hello! Well done for starting this, Dejags! How are you doing? Saw your thread about horrible SA mum cliques. How's it going now? Hope a bit better now...

Well, we are all OK - awful month though - my Dad had a heart attack (still undergoing tests), we all had awful flu and thend ds got an abscess up his bum and may need an op if it reoccurs. All very stressful - have got my wish to lose weight fast . So, ds is getting better now, still not started solids and is 27 weeks. Quite proud to have made it through bfing alone - have actually just been and bought some baby rice today - may try and give him some tomorrow - if I am organised!
Bye for now, Dinny x

big hugs podmog - when are you off to the hospital?

Glad to hear everything improving in your house Dinny.

I hate to say this but....... we had a fab w/e. We took DS to a pre-St Pat's Day party on Sat night and he managed to stay up to 8pm without too many tears He's also decided that he can sit up! Falls backwards a lot, but generally his balance is good.
