Marking my place. Hello! Long time no see. I will attempt to keep up. About to go to bed but...

tomorrow S has his 12 monthish check, and after a spell of horrendous nights where he's (comfort) feeding half the night, tomorrow we're going to finally move DH's computer into our bedroom, dismantle the desk, and put S in his own room. Thankfully the painting was all done months ago, it just need furniture moving in.
We've been co-sleeping, I fastened his cot to our bed so we had space, but I thought he'd be sleeping through by now. I'm back in work, I'm tired, I'm grumpy and I can't keep it up any longer... I've got 4 days off now, but I suspect I'm going to spend numerous night on the floor next to his cot.

I'll try to catch up tomorrow.

Hello! Haven't been on for aaaaages but thought it would be nice to catch up.

Lara is well, can't believe how time has flown by and we have settled into life as a family of five. DD1 went into Year 1 last week and DS started Reception so Lara is now the only one at home.

Bilblio - sympathies. I'm self employed and was offered a project too good to turn down over the summer, leading to crazy hours. It's hard juggling it all.

birthday planning will be happening next week. ive got presents all bought and wrapped and ive made some decorations, just waiting on balloons etc coming from ebay. ive got friends/family coming to my parents house for a wee afternoon party. was hoping to be out in the garden but its got rather chilly here!! i think im still in denial that S is about to turn 1.... ONE!!!!

I love that it's turned cold and happy to admit that I'm weird in this respect I much prefer winter to summer, the weather's usually better in Scotland well drier at least, the fashion tends to be better in autumn winter and not just cause its more forgiving plus it has Halloween bonfire night and Xmas, what's not to love. Think I have that SAD disorder just the wrong way round
Mhairi's winter coat should e ready to pick up next week I'm going to wrap that and her shoes as birthday presents. She's also got a snail rocker/ride on thing from gumtree mamas and papas and a few other bits.
Not planned any celebrations yet but will probably just be family with some tea and birthday cake.

Part timer checking in here. I struggle to cope with the amount you lot post so generally fall off the threads by about page 6...

Anyway, for the stats, A 6/10. 9lb8.

We've spent this month sleep training and although he still feeds to sleep, after a dream feed at 10ish he usually sleeps through to 6 and if he doesn't I send DH in because, you know, it would be mean to go in myself smelling of milk and all...

I go back to work in 12 days. DH is taking yetanother year out to look after kids but both will do a couple of days in nursery because dd got so much out of it. A has settled in brilliantly which is great.

No great plans for his birthday. Don't really have any friends with younger dcs to invite plus its the ntc nearly new sale in the morning (i'm going to sell shed loads of baby stuff) and the following day I'm running a half marathon and hoping to meet friends for lunch so we'll be out all day. Might manage tea and cake on sat pm for him.

Awful night. Ds2 had bad pains in belly to point he couldn't walk. Ended up at sr who thought wee infection. Woke at 2am with ds2 gagging he promptly threw up over himself, me, bed, floor and then bathroom. Poor boy.
