I need a quick, easy Sunday school lesson for this week, any ideas?

I do a monthly SS slot at my local church. I only recently started. It's a bit shambolic as there is no leadership or advice. We have appointed a new youth minister but he won't start for a while.

I have no clue about what to do. I need a fun, engaging activity/game that is low resource, on a theme from the bible for this Sunday. Any ideas? I'm desperate!

Kids are primary school age.

Thanks in advance.

Would highly recommend scripture union resources (bubbles or splash or x stream depending upon age) and if you sign up you can access their ideas and Web resources for free.

Last week I did daniel and the lions den. We made a pizza lion, acted out the story (Daniel 6), played a version of rock paper scissors- Daniel beats lion, lion beats governor, governor beats Daniel (make up actions for each) and made a lion using this www.biblesongsandmore.com/2012/11/01/lion-origami/

We follow the Gospel . Some ideas and activities on Cafod. Also check out DLTK ( can never remember order of the initials) as they have some lovely ideas. I have used some activities for infant RE and the kids loved them.

Thank you icklekid I haven't seen that site before. Great to have another to check out.

Thanks for the great ideas and tips of websites. I have signed up to the one you recomended Ickle, but to be honest, not finding the download for free stuff giving me much. Should I be looking at other parts of the website or the paid resources?

I think I will try your Daniel idea for this week, but would like to be more organised going forward.

I will also check out the Cafod website Ditsy, thanks
