Easy to count, too.

The rare and surprising time when my 3 year old goes in a monologue 10 minutes long
DS waking me up with a kiss
A little puppy in my hands
A clean and perfeclty organised house (happens just once every few years)
Big family get togethers
And many other things...

My boys, hearing their funny sayings, cuddles and kisses from them, just everything about them.

My friends, laughing and sharing with them.

travelling, would love to do it more.

Sitting in my summerhouse, with friends or close family and just chilling.

Eating, most food tbh

Nice question - I've been thinking about this because, if truth be told, I haven't been very happy for quite a while.
My family, including my wonderful in-laws. Doing things which really switch my ds's mind on (unfortunately finding the switch is a bit hit or miss! He's 3 and rather contrary). Completely eating as much food as I want at dinner - have had stomach problems for oooh years now and it gets me down when I have to give up half-way through a fantastic dinner. The view out of my window really makes me very happy, it's so beautiful.
Mostly having my famiy here though.

2nervesapartridgept i like your style i have bathed and cut toe nails girls got their hairs cut today. visited SAnta grotto made cookies and well just heard some tiny feet out of bed as i am on computer but well on their way to sleep !!! d/d2 fell asleep hence not tired now.

anyway, what makes me happy is all the lovely things mentioned about babies and hugs and cuddles. love and appreciation by loved ones.

I need to put into pending in my head all the stressful crappy family stuff and mixed up friend that are draining. enjoy my family christmas as my hubby is forces and thankfully back in time for Christmas.

i suppose my question was let me into the secret of happiness. definately comes from within love yourself even though we havent the time.
on this note i bought a lovely dress today from wallis a bit way out for me but will be nice for work do and christmas day etc.... so to fellow mumsnetters love yourselves (will try and take my own advice) reward yourself for doing all the tiring stuff. and enjoy the christmas season.

Opening the curtains, seeing a wonderful crisp sunny/blue sky day beginning outside - and going back to bed for another 5 hours.

I'm happy, very happy but "truly happy" ... I'll let you know when it happens!

Seeing funny expressions on my children's faces. Hearing them say funny things and giving me kisses and cuddles. Not having to commute 3 hours to and from work.
