Since last time I have been on this thread, Our development group had star turn at the local spiritualist church. I didn't think I'd have the guts to sit upfront, but I did

I was given an image of shrek and a labrador puppy which a woman in the front row said was for her, I was then given the word Turkey, which I thought meant holidays but just gave the word. The woman works in the meat industry and had been giving presentations all week on turkeys!!

Although I was buzzing I didn't really het a spirit come through. It might be cos i was feeling very self conscious by then. the phrase, All mediums are psychic but not all psychics are mediums is haunting me a bit now!

Still magicking away...although dd has first holy communion this week so am madly busy and surrounded by woo of an altogether different (but surprisingly similar persuasion! (I'm not Catholic btw, but dp and dd are, what with us being in deepest darkest Italy an'all)

Yes, NC it's the Magic book I'm following.

I'm not following it completely to timescale, (ie I should be on about day 20 but am on about day 13 I think) Some days just rush away with me, but it is helping me with positive thinking and I am enjoying writing down what wishes I want to come true etc

I've not heard of the destiny cards, no, but will now scoot off and do some googling!

I think what grapes is referring to is a book in The Secret series...unavoidable to have missed in the past few years. There are a few new books by the same author and The Magic is daily excercises that you can do to enrich your life.

So I just reminded myself that I bought this book and was bowled over by it by life took over and I really need to get back to it.

Having said that, life is going pretty well in some parts at the mo, lots of positive thinking

Nothing woo to report here at the moment but a question. Anyone know anything about the cards of destiny? They are meant to be really accurate, like playing cards. A friend of mine had hers done and the details were very specific. Made me curious to try them.

What is this magic of the day stuff?

Balcony is fixed.....and today dp won £150 on the lottery. Coinciding with my doing the Magic day of gratitude for money past and present.....and his parents have offered to pay for a family party that we'll be organising over the next few weeks. Both totally unexpected. <gratitudegratitudegratitude>

I left my crystals and stuff on the balcony to soak up the rays and the universe has deemed fit to break my pulley thing for the shutters So now I will have to limbo out there under the bit that isn't blocked to retrieve my woo-bilia.

I know I said I'd get round to doing readings for people, but I am quite possibly the slowest person ever - but it's all due to me getting involved in too much 'stuff' ie work and life and family etc...I have well meaning intentions but end up letting people down My apologies, and when I get a little time I will send out the feelers again and see if anyone would like a few words.

Agh, been a bit absent again, life taking over.
bumble my Reiki teacher also did kinseology and did it on me, she sure did release something in me as first I laughed hysterically and then I cried. It was such a weird sensation. My massage teacher also did kinesology and tested me to see what sex DD was when I was pregnant with her. I already knew but she didn't and she got girl which was cool. I would suspect your friend is also a bit psychic...a lot of these things go hand in hand. My massage teacher is also a psychic, does Reiki, kinesiology etc but totally non woo, you would never think it to look at her.

DD is only 6 months but can't wait until she is older and I can ask where she was before mummies tummy

Does anyone know anything about kinesiology? A friend was telling me about it today and she mentioned that this particular kinesiologist can give dates of particular (traumatic) events that have caused blockages or whatever. She has been very accurate with a few people! It just sounded really interesting but when I was reading a bit about it on t'internet it didn't mention anything about being able to give dates - maybe this woman has a particular 'gift' that enables her to give that additional information? or is that common?
