ideas for a very special christening gift please??

my SIL has asked me and DP to be godparents to her DD, what makes this extra special is that their first DD passed away in april. we have been devastated as a family.we all see their new DD as a little bit of hope. thats even her middle name. i would like to get her something special, away from the traditional silver cross/ braclet ideas! anyone got any ideas??

izzybiz...what about a plant/tree with "hope" within it's latin name. if you look on the rhs website they have a plant finder which lists several plants with "hope" in their name.
