Acclaim flea spray - safe for 10 week old baby?

Hi,

Having recently become a first time parent, our monthly fleeing of our cat slipped and we didn't get around to it until about 3 months later. Having finally got round to treating the cat with Frontline Combo we found one flea. I have been bitten once or twice in the last couple of weeks however cannot confirm it was a flea bite and my husband and DD have not been bitten at all.

My vet advised I treat the whole house and upholstery with Acclaim Household Flea Spray, however with my DD only 10.5 weeks old I am worried about spraying so many chemicals around the house for a problem that may not even exist or if it does may be dealt with my the cat himself now he has been treated. I'm trying to convince myself the spray is safe for my DD however the thought of spraying so many chemicals around the house doesn't leave me feeling comfortable.

Has anyone else been in a similar position? Any advice appreciated as equally I would hate to let a problem develop if it could have been caught early.

Thanks

Front line doesn't work anymore. Take your cat to the vet for tablets. Works within 2 days. Use Bob Martin flea spray first because of baby.. it has no pesticides and you can even spray it on the cat and the cats bedding.

If you still seeing Fleas then use Acclaim but put all babies toys in bin bags and all babies items away from the spray. Keep baby out for full day and air out open all windows at least 4 hours before baby is due home.

I have a 7 month old and 2 cats...

Frontline is ineffective.
Advocate.
Indorex the house. Stay overnight elsewhere if you need to.
