My cat has gone to vets for blood test today

Had to drop her off at 8am.

She is quite a small cat but her appetite has increased loads in the last couple of months. She is roughly 13 years old (not exactly sure of her age as we got her from the RSPCA) so not a youngster anymore.

Vets told us that they wanted her in for a blood test to check for thyroid problems.

Have to phone them at 11am to see how things have gone.

Fleck. That's what her name was when we got her. She has tiny white flecks in her black fur.

sweet name! Our poor cat is just Puss! She was called Buttons when we rescued her, but she didn't come when you called it. She did answer to the cupboard door opening where her food is kept though!
I hope you get the good news soon.

just phoned vets now they said she can go home in an hour. not sure what the results of the blood test are yet - they didn't tell me on the phone. not sure if that's good or bad.

Hope Fleck is well. Fingers crossed for both of you. I'm sure if something had been really bad they would've told you there and then?
Pls let us know how you get on.

Well looks like the blood test was fine. They want to see her for a check up in six weeks' time. That's good news.
