With utterly different meanings.
Is it really so hard to understand that?

I feel better now.

Also, bought and brought.

Bought and brought drives me mad.

The because/cause situation can be resolved with a simple apostrophe - 'cause. Unfortunately it seems most people can't be arsed. I prefer to see 'cause' misused than 'cuz' or 'coz' though.

I hate to be pedantic, Pipbin, especially here, and I do understand you were stressed when posting, but can words really engage in reproductive sexual activity? If so it might explain how they spawn new meanings which, when young, are exceedingly troublesome to the pendants amongst us.

You don't hate to be pedantic at all, you love it, just like me. Grin

"Pendants"?! Send cat for immediate re-education!

Better than being hanged for falsely claiming the title of pedant, although, I suppose, as a pendant I'd only be hung.
I would hang my head in shame if my I felt my linguistic ability was at fault rather than either my hasty typing or failure to notice mechanical word correction by this wretched machine.
