Has anyone played the chocolate game with 5 & 6 year olds?

I was thinking of doing a traditional party for my soon to be 6 year old. No entertainer, but me hosting the games for about 15 children.

I loved the chocolate game when I was young, but we were around 12 when we played it at parties. Do you think it is suitable for 5 and 6 year olds?

Thanks.

God i loved that game. But I think they might be a bit young. It's quite fast and frustrating.

If you mean the one where you have to eat chocolate with a knife and fork while wearing oven gloves then yes, I think it is too old for 5/6 year olds. Stick to musical statues/ bumps/chairs pass the parcel and sleeping lions when they need claiming down.

We played it at 5th birthday party - had to explain the rules, as none had played before…but they all got the idea really quickly! We used an extra large dice and kept the 'dressing up' to just a couple of items.
