How do they turn out, do they look ok? How far in advance do they need to be ordered? Thanks

They are great, really good value for the size, we have used them a couple of times. They are printed while you wait, but the machine at our local Asda is sometimes out of order, so allow time to go to a different branch if necessary. They can scan drawings in too, so child can design their own cake.

The quality of the photo is really good, much better than I was expecting.

The only thing I would say is that when I was purchasing DS's birthday cake there, a member of staff working nearby offered to help and recommended choosing the cake with white icing rather than chocolate icing as the paste used to stick the rice paper photo on shows through on the chocolate one.

DS still inisited on a chocolate cake despite me trying to talk him round Hmm and the Asda lady was right!...
