I am nearly 40 (good lord) and we are having about 20-25 people to our new house for drinks and nibbles to mark this and also 'warm' the house. We are so out of practice on the party front and now that we are all a bit older and knackered, not sure if just laying on drinks and some music is enough? It's a mix of people from colleagues, neighbours, DS' schoolfriends' parents, so people won't necessarily know each other.
Any ideas for keeping the party going?!
