Should we take dd1 out of preschool?

DD1 is 3.4 and started preschool for 3 days a week on September 1st. Since she started she has been ill 3 times. She will have attended only 7 out of 15 days by the end of this week.

She has asthma and had an attack on the 5th sept. and was in hospital again on monday overnight with another attack.

She hadn't really settled in with all the disruption and cried for me most days. I wonder should we withdraw her til after Christmas to give her a chance to bounce back a bit after being ill or will it be more difficult if we stop and start?

I am also worried that she will be disrupting the class as it will be like starting all over again for her when she returns whereas most of the children will be starting to settle in by now.

Have you spoken with the preschool? It sounds to me like maybe taking her out and starting anew in Christmas might be a good option - it means she can relax and recuperate and should hopefully settle into preschool in the new year quite quickly wiht the new intake.
