My previously wonderful sleeping daughter has started to wake between 4.15 and 5 am and won't go back off to sleep, she screams and gets herself in a right state?

She goes to bed 7pm on the dot every night, sleeps til 12.15, has a little moan and then goes back off. She naps for about an hour and half from 9.30am onwards. She is never crabby when she wakes and in all other ways is a dream baby!! She has got black out blinds and curtains in her room so its very dark, but it seems as soon as the birds start singing she is awake!

My husband and I are in the process of splitting up and I'm wondering if she is picking up on the stress in the house?

I'm so tired from being up at 4.15, its the middle of the night!!!

Any suggestions on why and what I can do?

Hi mummytowillow, I'm also a mummy to a Willow . I did THIS and have never looked back. Read the whole thread, it will give you lots of tips and encouragement to keep at it. This method worked for me when nothing else did. Hope you have success with it.

Thanks so much for your reply, why didn't I think of this!! I've got her book and read it frequently!!

I'm definately going to try it as she had me up at 4.15 this morning, wanting to watch tv!! Yeh right!
