Sympathy from me , Our doctors is the same . I hope you manage to get an appointment for later , or at the very least leave a message for the dr to give you a ring later .

How old is your dd ? You are doing the right thing (you know that already ) but generally the right thing is the hard thing .

Is she normally like this ?
I know mine drive me nuts sometimes and I could cheerfully sell them for a fiver and it turns out to be just them being a pain but then other times they drive me mad and I get all worked up about it and it turns out they have been coming down with something

Hope you get some peace today

is the 5.45 due to the clocks changing? we have had dd kicking off big time about being hungery at 6.15 since sun, although onve downstairs she isznt too bothered about food.

I start ringing a min or two before the time stated for drs and just keep pressing redial tiresome but effective

Feel better soon

If you can't get an appointment you can get sachets of cystitus powders from a supermarket or chemist.

ouch dilemma
are your antibiotics called nitrofuatoin by any chance?
i had cystitis a lot years ago and this was given by my much loved and now retired gp at the time. they are the ONLY thing to work on me.
i was on hols in america once about 3 yrs ago and got a sudden attck... went to a doctor prepared to fight for nitrowhatsitsname and he was all 'of course i can give you that, thats what i always give, why would i give anything else?'
seems a shame it doesnt appear to be so well known over here [??]

oh good - ill prob be flamed for this but id say feel free to neck a few of them to kick start the course, god there is NOTHING i hate worse that bloody cystitis. i drop off a cliff of despair the minute i suspect it coming on, seriously. ok, so im a bit of a drama queen, but honestly it utterly disables me. cant even think about anything else till the pills kick in. you have my total sympathy

a friend used to swear by cranberry juice to get rid of (and prevent) cystitis. I think it's some clever little enzyme or something...
