what type of sippy cup do you use for bedtime milk?

i've noticed that my ds who is 25 months is chewing on the teat of his bedtime bottle - playing with it and running it along his teeth so it can't be too good for them.

I guess I need to change him over to a sippy cup (don't think he's ready for a normal beaker). I'm at a loss as to what to go for though....

would like to know what other folks use for bedtime milk...

Thanks

At 2 i would be trying him with a normal cup, start him with a doidy cup as a bit easier at first.

DS has been having his bedtime milk in a Tommee Tippee sippy cup (it has 2 handles and a lid with 2 holes in). We switched to this when DS was about 16 months old as he used to guzzle an entire bottle of milk quickly and then throw up a couple of hours later in bed. He tends to only have 3 or 4 gulps of milk now at bedtime but he has a full bottle in the morning, milk on his cereal and other calcium through the day so I am not bothered about what he drinks at night - I think it is more about the 'routine' for him.

Why can't he have a bottle? I think changing when his brother is just staring to have one may not be a very good idea......

i was just thinking about his teeth as he just seems to play with the bottle....

i will suggest a normal cup tonight and if he doesn't want then i will give him his usual bottle without any fuss i don't want to create any jealousy but i just thought he was giving me a sign that he might be ready for a cup
