Which wrap-around sling?

I would like to buy a wrap around sling - I have a 15 mo and a LO due in July. My friend has a Didymos Sling which I think looks quite wide (in terms of the width of the material), or is this how they just are?

Any advice, names and links welcome!!!!

can you borrow your friend's didymos sling and see how you get on with it? it's woven, so doesn't stretch, which is far more comfortable for your back. I found stretchy sling really pulled on my shoulders and back.

it isn't too wide. it is just fine. didy slings are excellent. for a scrummy newborn i'd recommend one of the jacquard weave ones, like the Elise or Paul.

Thank you for your replies. I was hoping to get one on eBay but they don't have many on at the mo. Are there any other types of wraps that are just as good?

other wraps which I find just as good as didymos is storchenwiege and hoppediz. the price difference is mostly accounted by the fact that didymos uses organic cotton and the other 2 don't. I have a weakness for storchs but some hopps I find just as pretty.

if you venture on german ebay you will find loads more slings than on UK ebay. go to 'baby' then 'tragetucher' for the listings. most of them list posting only to germany but if you email the seller most will respond that they will also post to the UK. I have found that my next to no german not a big problem in reading/bidding on gebay.

PS, what size / length of sling are you after? I have about 3 I am considering selling.
