she never does this!!!
I was a bit dubious cos I don't know them very well (complicated but dh trusts them, god i hope so and suggested them) then dd was crying, clinging and begging me not to go (my one evening at work, dh at a funeral). But i went anyway.
makes me feel absoutrely shite and wish i'd not come to work tonight
she's 4 in 2 weeks btw.
i know this doesn't make much sense but i feel a bit rubbish and wanted to let it out. feel like i have let her down.

I used to work for many years as a nanny and there were loads of kids who would cry when their parents went to work.
I promise you they were all fine and within a matter of minutes were happily playing.
Please don't feel too bad, I'm sure she is just fine.
I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you gave them a quick call to check she is ok.
Here have one of these (((hug)))
