DD1 (17 months) high temperature, need to get a urine sample as she had a suspected UTI last year, so she was running around with no nappy on, did a wee which I couldn't get to as was feeding DD2 (11 weeks), then DD1 followed up with a poo. Thank goodness for floorboards! Really struggling to feed DD2, every feed starts off as a complete nighmare where she rejects breast (due to over enthusiastic let down - tried everything, some things help, but nothing 'works'!) and am on verge of giving up altogether and giving her some formula, but she doesn't seem to respond well to having a bottle and has been really unsettled ever time I've tried her with a bottle of ebm.
Missed the best music group of week due to doctors appointment. Didn't manage to get myself breakfast until 10am. OH at work and said he's take a half day to help, reckons he'll be home at 3pm (!).
Having downstairs rooms decorated so stuck up in DD1's bedroom or pacing the streets, but it looks as though it's going to rain.
Dishwasher broken. Extremely tired. Haven;t managed to cook a meal in ages as DD2 not too keen on going to bed yet.
Grrrr, I kept thinking that finding two easy was a bit too good to be true. Feel like am hitting a major trough! This does get better doesn't it?

Your baby is 11 weeks not 11 months and you have a toddler to run round after, dont be so hard on yourself, have a cup of tea and start again in a bit.

When dp gets home get him to take the babies out for an hour while you have a rest.

Thanks LMG for reply.
Have to say that my day didn;t get really rubbish until later when DD1 woke up from her nap in an absolute state, temperature of 39.9 degrees. She's been slightly limping for a couple of days. Went to doctors again and they referred us to paeds ward at hospital with a suspected septic arthritis in her hip joint. Thankfully OH home by this point, so met him and DD2 at bus stop (as he'd left car keys at work!!). No decrease in temperature for a few hours, and a doctor was examining her rash, when she noticed a non-blanching spot! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Rushed in to our own private room, given iv antibiotics very quickly, DD2 also admitted as a precaution. Felt like the world was ending.
An hour later DD1's temerature had dropped to about 37.5, and she was in very good spirits. No meningitis. Still not clear about hip, waiting for more test results.
We were all sent home this afternoon.
Both DD's are asleep and happy upstairs, and I can not believe how lucky I am.
