My 11 month old screams constantly

I need help!!
My son has always been a happy, content baby (he's 11 months).
The last few days he has literally screamed and cried all day every day.
He wants to sit, I help him sit, he screams. He wants to stand, I help him stand, he screams and so on...

I feel like I'm at my wits end. I'm just getting over PND, I've just recently split with his dad (who has never helped). And I feel like now my son is telling me I'm a shit mum!!

Someone help.. What am I doing wrong?

Has he got a temperature? Is he eating and sleeping ok? It could be teeth, ears, tonsillitis, anything. I hope someone comes along with good advice, I feel for you (been there too!).

He seems totally fine.
He stayed with his dad last night as I was working early this morning and apparently he has been totally fine all day, not cried once.
I feel like he hates me!

Best to perhaps phone health visitor tomorrow, possibly get a doctors appointment if running a temp. Could be teeth, they have a lot to answer for. If he's got first two up and down might be the next lot starting.

Would his father have been honest if he hadn't slept well? It could be simple tiredness?

Yeah his dad would have moaned about it!
I'm seeing my family nurse (hv) tomorrow.
This has been going on for days now though, I'm just so confused, he screams even when doing something he wants Sad

Is he doing that whiny kind of crying they do when they're fed up or full blown very distressed crying?

Could he be overtired? Or in some sort of pain? Have you tried a does of Calpol to see if it helps?

had he had anything different to eat?

It's both to be honest.
He's not over-tired, he's good with going for naps.
I have been giving him calpol but it doesn't seem to do anything for him

I can only speak from limited experience (just one dc!) but when my ds has been like this he has always come down with something and often co-incides with teeth. Hang in there!
