My DS is 12mth old and lately his snoring is so loud seriously he could drown out his Dad!! Surely a snore so loud isn't normal for someone so small? He had a cold and snotty nose last week but that's since cleared up

Nothing useful to add other than you reminded me of newborn snuffles, aww. I suspect 12m old snoring is somewhat less aww though...!

Does he have big tonsils?

My ds was like this, he ended up having his tonsils and adenoids out when he was 3. I recorded the sound and played it to the gp, he then referee to ENT.

We went to an ENT consultant with our son who advised snoring is always pathological in children-likely tonsils. Record him and take it to go and push for ENT referral.

Sorry guys, old discussion but wanted to check if after removing tonsils the sleep was any better? I have a 12 months old baby who snores very laud, and she was diagnosed with tonsils.
Thank you
