what do you wash you children with?

Just that really. DS is 5 and I am using head to toe wash to wash his face and hands in the morning, before meals etc. Bar soap seems a bit harsh for a (still) little one. What does everyone else use?

For face I just use sensitive bath creme in the bath in the evening, plain water flannel in the morning. for hands just regular liquid soap, he's nursery have ordinary carex. Age 3 but never had any sensitive skin issues.

Thanks for your replies. DD had terrible eczema at this age, so I'm probably being over cautious!

Sanex Kids. Smells sweet and seems quite gentle.

Water for face, kids' hand wash for hands, kids' shower gel for body and hair. No bath here. Sad

On the side of the sink - an old bottle of head to toe wash.
For baths - Halos & Horns bath stuff. She's curly so I avoid SLS etc for her hair.

Burt's Bees hair and body wash. Smells delicious, seems to be quite gentle.

Just what we use.

There are people who bath their kids in detol so I wouldn't worry.

I think skin type is the more important factor than age. You can get baby soap bars or something really gentle like Pears soap if you want your ds to learn to use solid soap.

Original source as it's the only thing I can use without my eczema getting bad so they use that. And Dove shampoo and conditioner. I'm very allergic to head to toe - discovered when dd1 was a baby and my mum then remembered I was allergic to Johnsons as a baby.
Generally just use water on their faces.

What is head to toe?

We just have a communal soap from lush in the bath. Just wet flannel after meals.

DS uses Lush stuff, but only because I do so that's all we usually have in.

My DD (6) gets washed with sanex kids stuff and very very very occasionally we use a lush bath bomb. I try not to give her too many bubbly baths. I wash her hair with L'Oreal kids mango shampoo and strawberry conditioner. My ds who is 16 days old is washed with water and will be until he's about 6mo (ish) this is what I did with my DD x
