Stupid baby clothes question

My DD had pretty much lived in sleepsuits so far but now she's big enough to fit into some of the outfits people have bought for her. So if she's wearing a dress and tights outfit do I pull the tights up over her bodysuit or fasten the body suit over the tights? I feel so silly not knowing.

You can do either. Tights over bodysuit looks better, but bodysuit over tights stays up better. Smile

I do tights over bodysuit. Others do tights under. Over bodysuit just seemed natural to me, then I can easily whip the tights off if DD gets too warm.

Body suit feels like underwear to me so I always did tights over the top but I know plenty of mums who did tights under as they felt it helped to keep the tights up on a wriggly baby.

Do whatever you want, there's no right or wrong

Tights under bodysuit here, but then I have to admit to wearing an extra pair of knickers over tights when I was a kid because the riding down thing drove me mad, so I am probably slightly off centre with my overly paranoid view on keeping tights up. Funnily enough my DD now insists on wearing tights low slung so the gusset is almost mid thigh Shock - I swear it almost has me hyperventilating

It doesn't matter. Just don't do what I did this week. Dd was in a dress, long sleeve t-shirt and tights. No vest as it was quite warm. Her nappy kept leaking urine & I was at a loss why until her third change and I realised her tights were pulling down her nappy Blush
