We're having a party for our 4 yr old tomorrow and were hoping a good chunk of time would be spent just playing outdoors. Now it looks like its going to rain all afternoon and will have 14 3&4 yr olds to entertain any ideas of what I can do? Already have musical statues, pass the parcel and pin the tail

We are in the exact same position! Possibly slightly worse as our facepainter has just cancelled! Marking my place for tips.

Could you get them to select their fav disney movie and watch it. If you have one with songs they will love all singing along.

You could also play games with balloons, who can keep it in the air the longest, get them into lines and thy have to make a tunnel with their legs and first team to get the balloon to the other end etc.

TBH I think we over worry about hosting and planning loads of activities. Children love getting together and just mess around and enjoy seeing each other.

Alternatively, argos do great cheap gazebos (I was a cheap skate) and purchased one used it for a party and took it back as said it was too small and they always give you a full refund!!

Hope you all have amazing parties tomorrow
