I know this has been done to death but I'm interested to hear how others go about 'rationing' tv.
DD recently turned 3, I am 37 wks pregnant with DD2 and have stopped work now. She's at nursery every morning until lunch then home with me. She may do a few sessions extra at nursery immediately after the baby arrives but that's pretty much how it is.
At present she watches approx 45 mins a day (maybe an hour some days) and often at the weekend a film on one of the days. That's it. It's usually in one block eg at 5pm when she is tired/I cook. I don't think this is too bad but she is obsessed with it....asks all the time for TV and it concerns me! I have spoken to her about it and explained it's not good for us all the time and generally when asked to turn it off she does so and doesn't complain but then asks frequently to watch more.
How do others ration Tv? I am worried when the baby arrives I will be weak and turn it on more frequently as will be finding it hard to do other activities which tbh are already hard at 37wks anyway!
