Hi,
My step daughter goes to an all girls school and is 11 years old. She goes to girl guides, but is about to enter her teens and I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions as to how I can introduce her to boys and see them as friends before she becomes a hormone crazed teen! I myself went to a mixed school and have lots of boy "Friends" however I can already see her being a bit shy or uncomfortable when in the company of boys her age. Are there any clubs or sports that you can suggest where she can make friends with the opposite sex?
: )

Sorry, haven't any ideas for you. Just wanted to say, i had a similar experience - girls' school, and did dancing and guides; I was terrible with boys as a teenager and probably much longer too. Hope you get some good suggestions, I'll be looking for ideas for my own dcs too.

It depends a bit on what she likes doing - active things like sailing and canoeing are good, but obviously not everybody's cup of tea.
