Many will have read his books and perhaps seen Steve's 'Raising Boys' and 'Secrets of Happy Children' talks on his theatre-tours in the past. He's back in the UK in January to launch his new book Raising Girls and to talk about how to help our daughters to grow up wise, warm and strong.

It's all been a little last minute, but we have arranged for Steve to give a few local talks on 'Raising Girls'.

He is giving a Mumsnet Academy talk in London on 28th January //www.mumsnet.com/academy/course/67-raising-girls-with-steve-biddulph, but if you can't make that he is also talking in Aylesbury, Bournemouth, Bristol, Stroud, East Grinstead and north London.

Details and links to tickets are available via his website: //www.stevebiddulph.com

Thank you. Just wanted to draw people's attention to the raising boys book, I read it years ago and it's extremely good, I can still quote bits from it which shows how inspiring it was. I particularly agreed with the importance put on boys having a mentor and also about boys needing an all consuming hobby. An excellent book for anyone with sons or working with boys.

Steve?s talks are absolutely brilliant. He gives an alternative to the consumer society and offers our children a chance to develop into warm caring adults.

Other talks are

Did you see the full colour spread in the The Sunday Times ?

I will see if I can upload a scanned copy - it is puts his messaage across about girls needing Aunts and how our society is robbing them our their childhood
