7month old going in her own room tonight any tips??

Might not be the best time to do it as she is full of a cold but as she's getting older and more sensitive to noise she is waking up every time I get up for the loo etc she needs peace and quiet bless her!

Any tips for me?

Why do you get up for the loo so often in the night?

It's usually only once to be honest but that can leave her wide awake for 2 hours!

Keep the routine the same. Familiarise her with the room. I made her cot look similar to what she had been sleeping in before (light coloured bumpers so it would look the same if she woke up). Tbh is was really a non-event when my dd went into her own room.
